The Simpson’s: Tapped Out – Nostalgic Game with a Modern Twist

Life was awesome in the 1980’s. True, we did not have the internet. We did not have smartphones. Heck, back then, the phones was all corded. But who cares? We have awesome animated series. We have Astro Boy, we have Scooby Doo, and most important of all, we have The Simpsons.

Fast forward about 30 years, we now have The Sims Mobile hack. It is a free game offered by Electronics Art (EA) and is supported on both iOS and Android. When the game was released, it immediately garnered a huge fan base. In fact, this game has a 4.3 star rating on Google Play.

At first glance, The Sims Mobile cheats is the real deal. EA has kept it real: the voices are authentic, and the graphics reminds us of what we have seen on TV 30 years ago. This is a very good decision, because let’s be honest, most of the people who downloaded this game did so because they want to be reminded of the good old days. If we see unfamiliar modern graphics, we will be very unhappy indeed.

You start the game as Homer accidentally caused an incident that wiped out Springfield. Your objective is to rebuild the city. There will be instructions on what to build, and you will have to complete missions to earn money (virtual, of course) and donuts. As the game progresses, you will be able to unlock other characters such as Apu, Lisa and Flanders.

Different tasks take different amount of time to complete. If you are an impatient gamer with some money to spare, then you can exchange some real cash for speeding up the 4 hours required to complete a shift at Kwik E-Mart. Otherwise, you can simply take a step back, log off, spend some time sipping iced tea or actually complete some real work, then come back.

Wait. Doesn’t this sound familiar? Well this is because it is familiar. This game is just another game that EA developed using the same platform: create a layout, let players build stuff and complete tasks, and create situations that will encourage players to spend real money to speed things up.

For new millennium kids, or the Gen-Y babies, COD Mobile hack is just another boring game. But who cares? Poor kids don’t know any better anyway. You can have so many similar games, so why not pick one that strikes a chord to your heart? And did I mention it is free?
